If you register for the Full Jam before October 25, you’ll be able to either pay in full or place a $100 deposit at checkout to secure your spot. If you plan to reserve housing, please note that housing must be paid in full at the time of selection. Rates increase as lower‑cost units are claimed, and the prices displayed above will update automatically—so booking housing when you make your jam payment or deposit is the best way to lock in the current rate.
You can also add the pre‑jam workshop during checkout. With both housing and workshop availability shifting over time, early registration ensures the best pricing and the widest set of options.
NOTE: For accommodation during the jam, please see the note below regarding obtaining housing.
Hosted Lodging Details
Exceptionally this year, there is no housing available at Fort Worden due to work they expect to have done. However, there are many local Port Townsend attendees who often house people, and many other comparably priced hotels and Airbnb options. The list of hotels is provided and contains all those available at the time of the search and the prices listed are for the period of the PT Jam (Dec. 16-20) .
important note:
All jam and workshop deposits and payments are non-refundable. However, placement can often be sold to others wishing to attend if attendance is not possible.

Yes, however the cost remains the same for the day ($150/$175). If you wish to participate in the evening jam, you must take a minimum of one lab/workshop during the day before the jam.
Yes. There are a number of beginners every year. However, many of the participants are experienced which is a great environment to learn! The PT Jam is a generally warm and inviting atmosphere for beginners.
Yes. We will post a rideshare google doc before the jam. Cars often come from Seattle, Portland, Bellingham, and other areas in the vicinity.
